·               Sustained multiple platforms in support of OCONUS Army Military Intelligence enterprise systems. The enterprise systems reside on both the Secret and Top Secret level networks.

·               System Administrator (Sys Admin) for the Distributed Common Ground System – Army (DCGS-A) and the DCGS-A Iraq technical center (Brain).

·               Administered over 170 Red Hat 4 Linux servers and over 210 Windows 2003 Servers throughout Iraq on both Secret and Top Secret level networks. The Red Hat Linux servers run remote data replication throughout Iraq.

·               Responsible for continuous operation of the database replication throughout Iraq. This required administration to the remote replication databases and enterprise servers.

·               Responsible for continuous operation and maintenance of these servers, to include application of operating system and software patches and upgrades.

·               Administered the Big Brother application. This application assists in monitoring the over 390 servers in Iraq. Configuration changes are made as necessary to keep up with the demand.

·               Administered the Sun ONE LDAP servers. The LDAP servers encompass every program specific user in Iraq; it is the application that does the entire user authentication. On average, there are approximately 5000 users within LDAP. Responsible for user and group administration and replication of LDAP throughout Iraq.

·               Worked as a Systems Administrator for the DCGS-A (Distributed Common Ground System – Army) program in Iraq (formerly JIOC-I – Joint Intelligence Operation Capability – Iraq).

·               Performed day to day administrative operations on 2 x 8 node Oracle RAC 10.2 systems, (6) MS SQL 2000 Servers, (44) remote Oracle 10.2 single instance databases running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.0, and  (50) Microsoft Windows 2003 servers which support customer web applications.
